One Duck in One Day

​One day, a little duck walked alone without her (his) mother on the ground. He felt hungry but there’s no food and his mother went away to somewhere. So he decided to find the food by itself and didn’t care about what would happen for the next. So, he enjoyed the journey with empty stomach and it’s not being a problem for him. (Andini)

​Because of he really enjoyed walking, he just arrived in forest without any noticed before. In the forest, he met with a hunter. That hunter is very scary and make the duck scarried. When he went away from the hunter, the duck chaised by the hunter and the duck fall into the hole. (Melasari)

​“Oh my God! Where’s my baby!”, mother’s duck cried. She had just came back from her garden and brought some foods for her little duck, but she got no one in the house. Then, mother’s duck went out to look for her child. She was so packnicked and made her couldn’t find the little duck carefully. (Andini)

​The mother duck felt guilty and the mother duck was regret it. She couldn’t treat her child. She is very cares, and she didn’t want to lose her child. But, she has a weakness, she always forget to her child when she went out to somewhere. (Melasari)

​The wind covered her body at all. She tried to walk along in forest with freeze body. Painful. The black clouds suddenly appeared like it knew about the mother’s duck’s feeling. But hey! It looks like the baby duck’s trace in (on) the ground. She must be hurry up to follow it before the rain is going to be fall down.(Andini)

​The little duck had tried to come out of the hole. He did it! But the baby duck’s running fast when her (his)mother tried to follow her (him). He was still shocked with the hunter so he didn’t care of whoever tried follow him, he just need to escape from that one, even she was his mom. Unfortunately, the baby slipped and fell again into the big hole. Until finally, the baby ducks didn’t findagain in the forest. She (mother’s duck) is running fast round the forest and she fall down on the hole again, and again. Actually they fell down in the same hole, in really big hole. (Melasari)

​Finally the baby duck and she was (were) trapped in the hole. Her body felt so tired and couldn’t do anymore. Until she heard someone came close over to her. She tried to shout out loudly for a helping, but her fear too big so that’s covered it and didn’t do that. Sssk. Ssskkk… sounds of someone’s moving tried to come closer. Krrrkk krrkk.. and now the mother’s duck realized its heard like a hunter’s gun. The mother’s duck manage to hide herself from the hunter while in other side but still in the same place, the baby also heard that scary soundsbut he confused what to do, he was too small and little to face this lonely. (Andini)

​And then the hunter came near to the hole, and the hunter saw that big hole something was moving. Finally he opened leaf who are covered that hole. That hunter was surprised. He found a cute little duck. That little duck was brought by the hunter to treated her (him). (Melasari)

​Then duck’s mother saw the hunter lift her child. Then he decided to follow the hunter. Before that, with her full of stuggle, she came out of the big hole by holding the strap that was being there. At the top of the hole, she saw the hunter hadnt gone so far away. When he decided to follow the hunter, the rain was come, so the hunter stayed below a tree. Then duck’s mother move behind the hunter. (H. Alwi)

​And the hunter move again by continue his way to home. The mother duck was following the hunter. Its not long time the hunter arrived at home. And then the mother’s duck saw his child and then run away come to his (her) child. The hunter realized about that condition, and surprising because there are two ducks. In the end, the hunter take care to the ducks. (Hida Kamila)
